After stratification....

I have about 8 containers of damp sand, on which I have been stratifying different types of milkweed (Asclepias) seeds. In early October I plan to remove them from the refrigerator and start growing them in a greenhouse over the winter - they are intended for a Master Gardener plant sale in late April.

My question - when I do bring them up to room temperature, would it be better to transfer the seeds immediately to a container with soil, or could I wait for signs of germination? I know that miolkweed seeds tend to have a low rate of germination, and I would hate to spend hours transferring "dud" seeds!
