Name That Plant!

Please identify this tree

Spotted this tree in Fort Myers, FL. The tall tree is about 15-20' tall. Leaf feels like a yucca, but I suppose this could be a palm of some sort or an agave. The point is not sharp as some down here. The tree does NOT branch. The short tree, same variety is about 8' tall. Please see image of trunk texture. Anyone got any ideas?

I will go with black locust as well. I took my little dog for a walk this evening specifically to look at the foliage of my Ky coffee tree and black locusts. The coffee tree's leaflets are pointed, and the locust's are not. It looks like a robinia.

That never occurred to me. But now that you pointed it out it seems obvious. I know of one oak growing about a block away. They are very uncommon here. Thank you.
