I order doubles of some ;) I don't have any specific place I want to put these yet but I do want them kind of scattered through my yard and definitely want to mix in other conifers like you suggest. I have a weeping cypress of some sort and really want a Juniper Spartan for one specific corner...other than that I was going to search around locally to see what they have is store and scatter a few conifers (along with these) against my fence. Now...Ken...I remember you once saying that you only plant in very early spring and if you miss that window you hold out until fall. Is this something I should do as well? Is there a danger planting in late fall or summer? I also have to admit I caved and bought a Red Star...I honestly could resist since its what got me so interested in conifers to begin with...It was only $6 and I poop that out in a days worth of food. Even if it only lasts the season, I'll be happy I got it....but I do thank you for the heads up...at least now I won't be shocked and disappointed!! I feel I have the winter purples covered and tried to sneak a winter orange but I feel I still need some more bronzes and golds...I haven't been searching much but I can't wait to add on. I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm excited for winter already!

Pepper, I love Prettykitchen's whole house. I could move right it! jejvtr: I think you're DR set is much higher quality than mine, but the style sure is similar. An old boyfriend gave it to me over 20 yrs ago (don't know where he got it) and I refuse to get rid of it. Not for sentimental reasons, but I love the way it looks and functions (ie. well patina'd even after it was refinished...hahahahaha). I worked with Liz at Kennebec too. I took the very long drive to Maine in November. I decided on Kennebec when I changed from painted white to QS white oak. No one does it like they do. Their showroom and shop are first class; I liked everyone there. The hood as pictured is non directional stainless which is more like a pewter color and very matte. There are no other finishes in the kitchen like it. The sink and faucet are stainless, the gagg ovens are aluminum (but on the other side of the kitchen) and the lights are tarnished brass. I'm hoping that the polished stainless and brass trim on the hood will tie it together. I'll know better when I get a swatch.

I'll start this by saying: These are just MY OPINIONS, for what they are worth! As an ebay seller, 9 negatives out of 250 feedback is a pretty high percentage! As an ebay buyer, I'd avoid her on ebay & a web site! (Just my opinion) As an ebay seller & a person with a web site those excuses as to why she hasn't dealt with you order (as far as you can tell) don't wash with me. If you are going to sell on the internet in any venue-web site, ebay, whatever, you need to plan to deal with that. It's not any different than any other "job", except that you are working from home, & some people just don't do that well. (I had cellulitisis (which started spreading) & an upper respriatroy infection last June. Flat on my back in bed for 2 days, then basically stuck resting for the rest of the week. Even when I was stuck in bed, I got up once a day to check the computer-maybe for a whole 5 minutes, but if there was an email that needed an answer, they got a VERY SHORT answer, ending with I am alive, but sick. if you need more info, I'll get it to you asap, but it will be a day or so. [phrased better, of course]. I also have a friend who lives about ½ hr away, if I CAN'T do the computer because I'm too sick, she'll come over & do it.) Ebay & my web site made up the majority of my craft income last year, I can't afford to run it badly.....and people like this lady make people cautious of buying on the internet.... Sorry about the rant, & sorry for your bad experience with that seller! I hope it resolves in your favor-either getting the order, or contacting the CC company & stopping payment. Avon does not work like this. Please have your friend contact them, and the state Attorney General ASAP. Also here in ND, the media will release warnings regarding scams. Avon will not release names and addresses. I am so glad she did not get caught. Since I do not have a reg. rep. I buy from our local flea market, but even there I am careful, as some of the reps are selling out of date products. Just for a note, a rep buys directly from Avon and can sell the product for any price the want to, unless this policy has changed.
