Well....if you are not going to get other answers right off, I'll give some guesses that may be way off but they are first reactions.

3. Is it supposed to be the same type of plant in both pictures??? You could try comparing to Plectranthus amboinicus or "cuban oregano."

4. Nicotiana sp.?

5. My initial reaction to this was a fig but I'm probably way off. One of the tree experts will have to comment.

8. On the tip of my tongue, but I can't seem to recall it.

I can't help with the IDs, except that I agree that #4 looks like some kind of Nicotiana, and could 6 be a yucca of some kind? But most people aren't going to do that much cutting and pasting to see the pictures. You can use the html image tag in these posts - here are the pics.

#5 Yes, a fig -- Ficus auriculata.

stems, but its leaves are shorter, more stout than S. Divinorum, and its leaves
are not velvet dark green.
