#1,2,and 5 are Vreiseas. #2 looks like "Splendriet" (I probably misspelled that). #5 could be "Christiane" but its hard to be certain, there are so many vreiseas that look so much alike. #3 is a neoregelia. I have no idea which one, you could look through the photos on the FCBS website and try to locate it #4 and 6 are Guzmanias. #6 is very lovely, good buy! AGain, it would be really hard to put a cultivar name to either of these but you might have better luck with #6 than the other one.

Does the date help with IDing photos? ===>>>>date of bloom can be indicative ... heres more learnin for ya ... it is said.. that plantiginea.. as a species.. is the mother of all fragrance ... i swear... in MI.. it blooms within days of 8/15 .. dads birthday.. even if repeatedly frosted down.. it was suggested to me.. its something to do with length of day ... AND ITS A NIGHT BLOOMER... so your best flower.. opens in late afternoon/early evening ... and that is why you enjoy it after work ... whereas others bloom in morning.. and the best stink is gone by evening ... as the gene pool moves further from plantaginea ... bloom time extends earlier.. some blooming in early july ... and flower size is reduced ... so yes.. bloom time can be important ... especially when we are talking about an otherwise green hosta ... though plantginea is that apple green rather than standard green.. etc ... and the only other apple green one.. is the one i named above.. of which i am blanking ... and i did NOT ID lancifolia nor tiara.. i made a suggestion ... some hosta we can ID at 10 feet.. its called the 10 foot rule ... but if it doesnt fit there ... most require a MATURE LEAF ...and a ruler/scale.. anything less than mature.. can lead us to make presumptions on size .... ID parameters are color/variegation/leaf shape[which can vary by age]/clump shape/form [such as vase shape]/fragrance/flower color/flower height/red dots on petioles/ ... etc ... my God.. the list goes on ad nauseum ... lol .. finally.. i THINK you said you keep pix in DATE FOLDERS... that failed for me.. when i wanted to do a post about 5 years of a given hosta ... i couldnt find the hosta in every year.. ... what i ended up doing.. was making a hosta folder on the C drive.. inside said folder.. an A file .. B file.. C.. etc ... and then with my naming protocol.. dropped all the named files into each alpha folder ... so when i want 5 years of say June ... the are all in HOSTA .. in folder J. ..... in name order by date ... ken

The first one (with five leaves) is Parthenocissus Quinquefolia (Virginia Creeper). It is a pain beacuse I have it all over my yard. It seems like everytime you kill it, it comes back twice as long. Although, it turns a wonderful bright red in the fall but still shouldn't be there.

Lyban, those came from Country Curtains, were quite inexpensive, and had pulleys with lock stops at the top corner for the pull cords, so although they had a little weight, they went up and down very easily. Also, because they were bamboo slats rather than matchsticks, they did darken the room considerably, but not completely. Mine were not lined. Hanging them at the top, on the outside of the frames, meant that they didn't have to be precisely the same width as the windows...they were actually about an inch past the window frame under the curtains. Fabric ones can be light or heavy, depending on the fabric itself, and the lining. I had lined fabric shades made from a heavy cotton with a contrasting border for my library, and they were actually a bit harder to get up and down.
