I have about fifteen of these plants is varies stages of health. Seems the ones in the sunnier locations are not doing as well.

Also have had some lace bug investation.

Should I try to move the ones not doing well to a shadier location?

How about fertilizer? Too early? Not at all?

Should I cut those damaged by lace bugs back substantially to get rid of the defective leaves?

When should I used a preventative spray to prevent lace bug?

Would Holly be a better choice in the sunny locations?

Do deer eat Holly?

Thanks for your help!
