Roses breaking dormancy--OK to prune now?

Hi there!

I live in MD, and up to today have been experiencing pretty frigid February-type weather. However, for some reason my roses are already coming out of dormancy. One, a mini-rose I have in a pot, already has small leaves. We are expected to have a warm spell for the next week or more, with daytime highs near 50, so I imagine that the growth I see will rapidly develop. My question is, should I prune now, even though it's about a month earlier than I usually do?

Thanks for your help. Oh, by the way, the roses in question (besides the mini) are all Knockout types.

Claire
