NO! Do not do a rejuvenation to any Viburnum!! Michael Dirr, who wrote the book on them and who has developed many of them, recommends infrequent and light pruning of Viburnums, if any at all. This is my favorite shrub. I have at least two dozen and about 8 different cultivars. I believe the one you have is a Burkwood, but it could also be Judd. Either way, it's gorgeous, pretty much pest- and maintence free, and you should definitely NOT coppice it. You do that to a Rose of Sharon or a lilac, but never to a Viburnum. Clearly a Commelina, but it doesn't look like the Commelina communis that I've seen, those having longer, narrower leaves that are pointed at the tip, as well as generally being much larger plants than your pictures seem to indicate. A search on the USDA PLANTS Database also shows that Commelina communis isn't reported to occur in California. Only one species is reported in California, Commelina benghalensis, which is listed as a noxious weed by the state of California. So presumably that's what you have. If you are still having issues, here are some work-arounds: Sometimes with a slow connection with a slower upload speed, it can take minutes to upload a photo, but you will see it appear in the typing box before you click Submit if you've been successful. Sometimes you want to try a different browser since GW doesn't work well with all versions of Explorer. Some folks find that if they upload to Houzz photo (Go to Your Houzz in the upper right of every page and click on upload photos or files) they can then use the Houzz Photo option to put it in a thread. If you don't have a photo, it's harder to ID, but adding flower color and shape (bean flower, daisy, etc) along with other details such as leaf shape, tree general height and width, and whether the leaves are opposite each other on the branches or they alternate from side to side would help.
