My boss says it grows little red berries also. I know it's not much to go on, but we'd really like to figure this out.

It looks like an Eleagnus to me.

Definitely not a camellia if there are little red berries.

Eleagnus imo too. Maybe E ebingii. Bit of a boring choice considering what you can grow in Florida.

Can we know how it 'burned down?'
