Needed: Serious advice...

This will be slightly off topic, yet not. For the past couple years, I have not used any pesticides in my yard and seen an increase in toads. I also put in my pond a few weeks ago, and I have tadpoles and tiny toads all around the edges of the pond on the rocks, plus several goldfish and 2 koi.

But, I do have a problem.

I have 2 small dogs in the yard. We had a very wet spring, and are experiencing 100+ degree weather now. We are in the middle of a flea epidemic. We have tried the stuff in the little bottles that you put on the dogs, but they have been useless. Hubby is suggesting that we spray the yard to control the fleas, but I'd rather not.

Does anyone know of any way to control the fleas without harming all my new wildlife, especially the toads that will be on land soon? Help, please.
