Sam Sam Sam you are getting a rep. as a "vendour basher" on this board. You have 2 current posts on the board. They indicate you have a rather large culture problem. Where did you get the original orchid from? No, it is not illegal to name a vendor. But I would hope that you actually see conditions and have multiple experiences with the vendour before you bash them. In all my years of growing I have seen only 1 bad vendour. I have actually visited the nursery several times, spoken to a former professional grower who worked at the facility for many years before I warned people about the current conditions and decline. I could also state the reasons why the vendour has global problems.

Judging by your other posts about Ang leonis, "stinking" humidifyers variable temps, declining plants, you have highly unstable conditions. If a humidifyer is "stinking" you have fungus and bacteria present and have not likely been cleaning your equiptment.

I pulled up 12 reputable vendors on a google search. You may want to get your conditions under controle before you add another orchid

Hi, Samuel, nice to see you again. I see Odom's has the Chia Lin you are looking for. So does Kawamoto Orchids. It is ok to post vendor urls here, so am giving you the urls for these two. I've used both of them several times, Odom's many times, and they are both very good vendors.

Don't know what your budget is for this plant. From Odom's you always get really big plants for the $$, in spike or in sheath if they have them. So, tho a 6" plant is $50 there, it is worth it if your budget allows.

Kawamoto offers it in three sizes, but their 5" is only $20. So you can save a bit of money if you buy it from them. Url to Kawamoto in the next post.

uhh my humidifier makes my room stink because i have an old carpet and if i dont run the fan it makes my room smell mildewy because the air becomes stagnant. Its a brand new humidifier and i bleach and scrub it regularly F.Y.I. Is My rep as a vendor basher here in your opinion or multiple peoples opinion? and if thats the case then i may need to fix something. besides my conditions are fine my plants are fine and blooming Just for the record i simply stated that ive had an issue with that plant in the past and that the humidity is not quite high enough to maintain bud development for my ang. leonis. if you don have any info about my post and you only want to tell me that my conditions are "Highly Unstable" write it to me in my email, not here because it only comes off as you being mean. and it is completly irrelevent to this post. im sorry
If i come off as vendor bashing and ill do my best to watch more closely how my posts sound. besides you personally dont know how many times ive dealt with any vendor. and i have only posted about 2 plants in serious trouble and thats not bad no one is perfect. you are not being nice i am asking you one simple favor please if you dont have anything nice to say to me or anyone else dont say it you are making me wish i never came here for help in the first place you dont make me feel like i should grow orchids un les i have "perfect conditions like yours!"
im sorry that i havent been growing for 10 years but i know alot and everyone has had humidity issues ans vendor issues not just me. so why do you seem to focus your meanness on my posts? i think im going to leave here for good if that will make you happy because im done trying to make peole happy:'( im sorry but i should not have to defend myslef and my abilities as someone who loves and cherishes his opportunity to grow the best plants on earth and love is all you need to grow any plant. thts what i have and my plants are fine
