Are you talking about the arrangements in the vases or what appears to be dry branches with some type of green "balls" (maybe hydrangeas) scattered on and around them? It's difficult to see either. Do you have a closer pic?

Thanks for your response...You're right, they could be hydrangeas....I assumed the green pieces were attached to the wood....they might not be, though...

I'm talking about the arrangement on the floor that defines the isle, not the ones in the vases.

Unfortunately, I don't have a better picture -- I randomly came across this photo while shopping for wedding shoes, lol.

I'm not convinced that it's a plant at all, but a moss ball or something similar. There are also floral foam balls of various sizes in which fresh flowers or leaves can be inserted.

The woody stuff looks like drift wood, which might have been spray painted to make it dark.

It looks like something of a tripping hazard to me, at least the way it's set up in the photograph. How are people supposed to get to their seats? Maybe no one is supposed to use the aisle, right? Other than you and the wedding party?

I actually thought the same thing (about it being a tripping hazard) after looking at it for a while. One walk down the aisle and I'm sure that everything got stuck to that bride's train. For my wedding, we'll space it out a lot more so that people can actually move.

I just asked DH (he's in the wholesale floral business) and he also said it appears to be foam balls covered in boxwood cuttings with painted driftwood. The angle of the photograph makes it look like the branches are in a straight line but they are spaced so the entrance to the rows of seats are open.
