Full StoryI am hoping to train a few climbers along fences about 5 feet tall. My concern is that the canes will grow stiff and straight up, and that the flowers will spill over onto the neighbors, leaving me without a view of the blooms.
How would these work out, or which do you recommend that are flexible enough to train almost horizontally, or have a bushy habit?
Some of the following I already have, but are not planted in the ground yet.
America
Cl. All Ablaze
Crepuscule
Night Owl
Piñata
Polka
Renae
Rosarium Uetersen
Sombreuil
White Eden
Thanks for looking at my post. I do garden in hot dry weather, so delicate blooms that fry in the sun are out, and I'm afraid to try singles for that reason.
