No experience personally, but I think your problem in part was the saran wrap. You should have removed it when your seeds germinated. No need for humidity after that, aloe dichotoma originates in "dry semi-desert southern part of Namibia". Needs a well draining sowing/growing mix, very little water.

I thought your temp would be reasonable by this time of year, although I'm near Darwin, so you sometimes get as bit out of touch with down south. I'd give them a bit longer. If you want to, you can put some in ziplock bags. That holds in moisture and moderates the temps a little. Keep them on top of the fridge, it's warmer there over night. You need to wash them regularly, to freshen the moisture around them, change the air, and reduce the build up of fungus, etc. I wouldn't just leave them sealed in the bags until they germinate. From seeds it can take 7 or more years to get fruit. Grafted trees produce fruit within a year or two. You'll sometimes see grafted fruit in the nurseries with flowers/fruit already on them. Also, with seed plants you never know what sort of fruit you're going to get. Seeds never produce true to the parent plant.

Harvest seeds from flowers and package for trade. Sow pansies early if not done in August. October - For cooler zones, final harvest of warm season veggies - save some seeds for sowing or trading. Pick herbs for drying or freezing. Freeze or can extra veggies (or give them away). Harvest more seeds and start trading. November - Garden bed cleanup time. Seed trade at a frantic pace. Get containers for winter sowing together, clean those that are re-used from last year (if not already done so). Make sure potting soil supply is adequate. December - Winter sowing begins! Seed trading continues. Seed catalogs start coming in - spend multiple hours going over them for "gotta haves". If you're not completely iced in, more garden cleanup ensues. January - Winter sow daily. Check December's winter sown containers daily. Order more seeds. February - Winter sow daily. Check December's and January's containers daily. Order more seeds, sell car to pay for them. Late February, look for signs of spring in early bulbs (crocus, e.g.). March - Do the happy dance when first winter sown containers show life. Survey what needs to be done to prepare gardens even after all the fall work, go have a drink. Sow more seeds. April - Check seed racks in stores for deals, new stuff to sow. Watch for spring blooming bulbs as they come up in your garden. Keep winter sowing. Start venting containers that are germinating. File taxes, pray for large return to pay for bad winter-sowing habit. May - might be time to start listing all those germinating containers - eek, what was in container number 476? Plant out any plants that are ready - lettuce for sure! and other winter sow successes. Exercise patience as majority of containers are waiting or just beginning to show life. June - Plant out. Daily. Hourly. Every minute. Ask yourself what you were thinking as there are still 345 containers to be planted. Survey half acre lot, vow to get a 10 acre plot by next year. Spring/summer sowing in full swing - good time to start perennials. July - arm-wrestle neighbors, cashiers, even family into taking last of plants. Consider calling Seedaholics Anonymous. Look around at beautiful garden, decide SA can wait. Very important - deadhead to keep garden blooming. August - enjoy fruits of your labor - flowers & veggies at their best! Stop deadheading as much, start collecting and packaging seeds for winter and trades. Consider getting a job to pay for bad winter-sowing habit. Scrap that idea, obviously not enough time to work! Seyson the thing is I am in the Central part of the state. (Born in a hospital in the oak woods of the Western part of the state though. I am a West Texas Cowboy by upbringing.) I just finished up working on my 4x4 bed, and 2 of my large box containers. (Box containers are 2 square feet x 18 inches tall.) I have been getting my ghetto low tunnel ready to start putting plants out. I have some tomatoes on the porch working on hardening them off to go into the low tunnel. My plan is to keep them in the low tunnel at night. Out in the day. If it looks like it will be an extended cold snap I will bring them back into the house. When I opened the low tunnel I saw signs of life from two of the geraniums I gave up on as dead in late November. My overwinters are outside as I type. The wind has ripped, and shred a lot of the leaves on them. I am not worried about that. They would have fallen off anyway. I just want to harden off the new stem growth. Last year turned into a big PITA covering, and uncovering everything. I lost some plants as well. So this year all will stay in the low tunnel, or in the house for the extended cold snaps. Our LFD here is projected as 20 March. We had our last frost last year on April 12. (9 frost in the days between.) 2 Ice storms happened between the first week of March, and the projected LFD. One of them the temp went from 75 and sunny to 34 and raining in 25 minutes. An hour later the temps dropped into the single digits. Ice started, 3 days of below freezing highs. Lows in the single digits. Then the warm weather came. Back to highs of 70+ with lows in the upper 40's. To grow here one has to be like a gambling addict. Keep going no matter how many times dice do not go in your favor. I had to replant 3 times last year. The end results were well worth it. Oh and to make sure it is on topic. I still have some still on the heat mat. I will start another 36 cells today. I am going to sell some of the surplus plants in an attempt to recover a small fraction of the cost of what I have spent this year. I am doing the same with some of the tomatoes I planted.
