I have quite a few bare roots coming this spring. I seem to have had better luck putting them in pots when they first arrive than planting in the ground - then planting them in the ground when they are leafed out and the weather warms. I dont know what the difference is......but would appreciate some opinions on this. Its no trouble caring for them in pots....I just want to give the roses the best start. Thanks!
