What are you planning on growing?

Since I asked, I'll go first. I am trying to get inspired and revved up so that I can pour myself into what I don't trust I can do any more since it's been on the back burner so long. Gardening. I may or may not make a go of it, but I am going to try. All the bones to front yard are done, so I am going to work on the side and back yards now.

The side yard (gee, can you tell it has dappled shade?):

Viburnum juddii (I added years ago and we swoon over it every spring, mmm)

Euonymus alata (leftover)

nondescript green hostas with no white markings (leftover)

Myosotis sylvatica (relatively well behaved here)

Scutellaria incana

Aquilegia vulgaris, 'Barlow blue'

Penstemon digitalis

The backyard lefthand side (heckstrip with a sort of wildflower theme):

Coreopsis grandiflora ÂEarly SunriseÂ

Callirhoe involucrata

Allium stellatum

Calamintha grandiflora

Agastache cana

Leucanthemum superbum ÂCrazy DaisyÂ

Aster oblongifolius

Saliva azurea

Callicarpa americana

Helianthus occidentalis

Boltonia asteroides

Campanula americana

Backyard on the right side (butterfly/cutting garden) against a fence:

Dolichos lablab

Ipomoea alba

Hollyhock ÂCrème de CassisÂ

Persicaria orientalis

Helianthus annus ÂGirasolÂ

Chia tarahumra

Cosmos ÂPicoteeÂ

Antirrhinum majus ÂRocket Red' and 'Rocket White' Nicotiana ÂFragrant CloudÂ

Malva sylvestris ÂMauritiana'

Lychnis chalcedonica

Larkspur

Zinnia "dahlia flowered"

Zinnia ÂRoyal PurpleÂ

Bronze fennel

Penstemon strictus

Lychnis flos-cuculi

Salvia coccinea

Lychnis coronaria

Achillea ptarmica ÂThe Pearl SuperiorÂ

Iberis gibraltarica

Melampodium

Thymophylla tenuiloba

Basil, 'Large leaf Italian', 'Basil Opal', cinnamon and Thai

Marigolds of all sorts

Nasturtium (even a climbing one)
