Laura~ I use photobucket and you go to the picture and scroll down to HTML code and right click, then hit copy. Come back to your message and right click, then hit paste. The code should come up and when you preview your message, it should be there. Good luck!!

I assume your pics are stored somewhere on your computer.....right? From there, go to photobucket.com ( I believe you need to register)....imageshack.us ( no registration needed, just upload from the main page)........you need a free photo hosting service, personally I use imageshack, but anyways. From there, you should see somewhere that says to upload/browse/host photos on your computer, find them, upload them, and paste the html tag in your posts here.......the tag should read at the start a href then a website name.....the code will start with pointy brackets.....I cant write it here, because it will automatically insert a pic. After you have pasted it here in Gardenweb, you will not see the pic until you click the preview message button at the bottom of the page. Now the only thing I cant answer you about is whether a mac stores picture files as something other than the ones recognized on a windows pc (jpg, gif, tiff....etc) If that is the case, someone else will chime in that possibly uses a mac....lol. This is a question that has been answered hundreds of times on these forums. A simple search will reveal that an excellent tutorial is available on the frequently asked questions (FAQ) pages. I give Laperouse credit for at least broaching the subject of file size. As I said on another recent thread, photos can be either a blessing or a curse to forum postings. Monster photos which include the HUGE files to support their super resolution are becoming a major problem on the Internet. It is senseless (and rude) to include this much data when all of the photos are only displayed at 72 pixels. If you are going to post photos -- especially multiple photos -- learn how to reduce the file size. It is easy to do and is offered free at many websites. Additionally, if you wish to display multiple photos, you really should either just provide clickable thumbnails or provide clickable links inserted into the text. The real question to be asking here is how small can I make the desired image file and still get my point across? A common feature offered on many cameras and imaging programs is an email feature that will automatically reduce the image resolution to acceptable size for an email  which is also perfect for inclusion in these forums. It is also preferable to crop your photos to eliminate all of the clutter that really adds nothing to the photo message other than adding needless, time consuming file bulk.
