Name That Plant!

Help identify a few plants from photo?

Hi there! I'm new to the board, actually found out about this community from Ikea Fans. I'd love to have anyone's help who would be so nice as to please take a look at this photo for me.

I'm using this as an inspiration photo for a border planting that runs along our backyard wall and noticed fountain grass but am unsure of the other plants you see in the border. Can anyone identify them?

Spikey leaves are probably Phormiums the red broadleaf plant in
back looks like Ensete ventricosum 'Maurelii'

Chris - Thanks so much for providing your insight and I think you're spot on on both. Does anyone happen to know what the low green plant in the forefront of the border is? That one is baffling everyone I've shown the photo too.

caveat ... i burned up a lot of plants with black mulch ... it just got too hot in the heat of summer .... cooking shallow roots.. and baking lower leaves ... i would probably.. with that brick/rock work ... have gone with a natural.. unstained mulch.. which would have faded to a very similar grey ... the plants under the window.. were planted EXACTLY for the size they were at purchase.. unfortunately.. they will NOT stay that size ... and will need to be pruned once or twice a year ... ken

The cactus might be an echinopsis. Does it have big, showy flowers? The brown part is probably corking after some old damage (sunburn? frost? mites?). As long as it is not spreading quickly it shouldn't be a problem. The last one is definitely an Aloe, but probably not A. vera. I don't know which one, though. These could all use more light. If you are moving them into full sun, be careful to do it gradually so they don't sunburn.

Might be an Artemisia but without a closeup it's anyones guess.
There are dozens so just pick one you like.
