Comments (3)It is possible you have Early Blight. Mine do the same thing. They will be fine until the first full day of high heat and humidity then it just explodes. The first thing to do is get all the bottom leaves trimmed off - I've read that it is fine to take everything off at least the first foot of your plants and even up to 18". Get them in the trash then wash your shears and gloves with bleach. This will help stop the spread. Copper fungicide or Daconil sprays, or Epsom Salt drenches are usual recommendations. I usually start spraying mine about 2 weeks after planting. Good luck with yours....See Morewhy are leaves on my hibiscus plants turning yellow
Comments (3)might have a lot to do with planting in july in FL ... how were they planted.. and how have you been watering them .. one thing for sure.. they are stressed ... and it must be severe stress .. if leaves turned yellow in 10 days ... take a hand trowel.. and find out if there is any moisture down 3 to 6 inches.. where the roots are ... both on the gob planted.. and in close surrounding soil ....if you are relying on lawn irrigation.. that is probably the problem ... in my MI... i dont plant ANYTHING in july or august... maybe pensicola is different ... how about a pic or two.. so we can see size.. color.. etc ... ken...See MoreWhy are the edges of my lemon tree leaves turning yellow?

If you see Maple trees turning red and yellow your citrus will have chlorosis soon enough, unless you supplement them with artificial light. At least a dozen maybe more reasons this is clearly not a salt build-up. Toronto Canada gets only 150 hours of sunlight in October. A small fraction of that if you are growing in the window. Yes Jeff you need a grow light and a grow tent if possible. It is that time of year. Sonnet 73: That time of year thou mayst in me behold BY WILLIAM SHAKESPEARE That time of year thou mayst in me behold When yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang Upon those boughs which shake against the cold, Bare ruin'd choirs, where late the sweet birds sang. In me thou see'st the twilight of such day As after sunset fadeth in the west, Which by and by black night doth take away, Death's second self, that seals up all in rest. In me thou see'st the glowing of such fire That on the ashes of his youth doth lie, As the death-bed whereon it must expire, Consum'd with that which it was nourish'd by. This thou perceiv'st, which makes thy love more strong, To love that well which thou must leave ere long....See Morejjaazzy
