Fresh Bag Baby

I found a pretty big Brassavola Nodosa in a bag today at Wal-Mart. It came in a 3" pot and looked pretty healthy. The potting mix is bark/charcoal/perlite. I've heard that B. nodosa dislikes being repotted, so should I leave it in this plastic pot? It's going to be outdoors in a shaded area under a tree where it will get rain. I live in central Florida, so the temps will be quite warm. I also live in a rural area, so I get good humidity and air movement most of the time.

Wal-Mart also had an assortment of Catt. seedlings (which I've never had any luck with) and Rhynchostylis hybrids (which I'm considering going back for) in bags.
