Can anyone name this plant? I'm calling this the Ouch Plant because the leaves are paintful to touch, with sharp points at the end. It reminds me of a holly bush and currently has blue fruit on it.
I live in Virginia, Zone 7, and found it in my new back yard, growing in the shade. It's about 5 feet high and 4 feet wide, and I may have found a smaller one nearby.
The only use I can see for this plant is under some teenager's bedroom window. It's horrible to touch, and my dog is hurting his paws by stepping on the leaves. You can see where I am heading with this thing, but please tell me what it is before I get going with the loppers.
