Sheila and Vickie, thanks for the kind words. I so enjoy the quotes and have learned so much, both from the quotes and the comments/discussions engendered by them. I also find myself reading quotes everywhere--and jotting them down on scraps of paper. I need to start a "proper" list like Josh has done. (I think it's Josh!) Her list is in my Favorites, but I don't want to steal from it, so I'll just have to find my scraps of paper! :>)

I think almost everyone who signs up to do the quotes for a week enjoys the challenge and signs up again.

Suzanne, who is rarely seen here these days, began it all. Except she was the sole person and every day, literally for years, Suzanne supplied a wonderful quote every day. When she decided to hang up her quoting hat it was replaced (I believe at Marda's instigation) by all of us taking a week each.

I think it's a wonderful GP tradition.
