Pink flowers with big white stigma(?) sticking out of them.

I didn't want to use flash but a storm had moved in and I was trying to get pictures of the plant in the rain. hehe.

Does anyone recognize this flower? I've been ripping them out of my bed by the hundreds since spring because I didn't want them to disturb my salvia seedlings. The plant itself is very long, lays on the ground, and just winds on and on if you don't stop them.

This is the first time I've seen it flower so now I'm wondering if I've been ripping out a 'legit' flower the past few months.
