Windex Outdoor Cleaner
Comments (11)I have been using it for years and I do like it my only suggestion with using it is, go to home depot and get a squeegee , the one with a "rolled" fabric washer on the other side. ( the extending one so you can get to the top of the windows) I always scrub the windows with the fabric side after soaping the windows up, then rinse and use the squeegee to get off the excess water. I found that if you just used the windex alone, you get water spots. ItÂs really easy and goes fast. Beats the window cleaner and paper towels any dayÂ...See MoreWindex Stain on Marble Floor
Comments (5)Use a poultice of hydrogen peroxide and baking powder. Mix and make it the consistency of a runny paste. 1st slather on a tiny bit in a corner, let it dry to a cakey crust overnight and remove. Make sure it didn't do any harm. If it didn't, repeat and place on stained area. Close area off as it is not good for pets. Afterwards, seal if you haven't already or reseal if its been awhile,...See MoreAbout Windex winow cleaner
Comments (22)I still use Windex for many things inside, including the bathroom mirrors. For larger windows, DH does them. Inside it's windex and clean (old) towels. Outside, a bucket of warm water, long handled extension soft brush, a sploosh (bigger than a splash) of ammonia and once in a while just a bit of dry laundry detergent, he hoses them off, no squeegee, no streaking, not ever....See MoreSpeaking of Windex
Comments (1)Linda, I have one of those picture windows. On yours, the seal between the panes is broken. The best thing to do would be to have it replaced, but if you don't need a ladder you can do what I do. You know the squeegies you use at the gas station to clean your car windows? Get one with an extentable handle on it. One side is a sponge with a scrubbie nylon covering, the other is the rubber side to dry with. Soak it in a bucket, or if possible even a spray bottle on the window, scrub the window with the sponge side, then dry with the rubber edge. With the extendable handle, I can do all the window on my house out side, but I have a ranch, so this might not work as well for you. I just used plain water. Tami...See Morebradarmi
