chervil2, Thanks for reminding me that I needed to mention that if you double click on the photo above it will take you to my on line photo album with many more photos to identify. Sadly to say, global warming is having a huge effect on Glacier National Park. The park was started in 1810, I believe and in 1850 there were 150 glaciers. Today there are only 35 and receding at an alarming rate. The scientists predict that there will be no active glaciers there by 2050. It is sad to think that my grandson will not be able to view this National Park as it is today. The changes will also impact on the ecosystems.
