I am pretty sure it's not a paw paw or walnut tree.... errr....

"Walnut or relation" = Juglans species or perhaps even another genus, although first off you should compare yours for instance with J. cinerea, which produces some quite similar leaves and fruits. There are also numerous examples of more than one Asian walnut species on West Coast properties, these are more like butternut than English walnut and the several species of black walnuts.

People I've talked with who were occupying sites up here with landmark butternuts or Asian walnuts on them have never known what the trees were, one party came up with the name "white walnut".
