Name That Plant!

Can someone help I.D. a problem?

I am on a dog board & someone from Texas is asking about a plant probelm. No one seems to know what is going on with this plant, so I asked if I could post it here. This is what she had posted:

Trying to figure out what I need to do to keep this from spreading. So far it is confined to this one plant. At first I thought maybe it was seeding but I have five of these in all and this is the only one affected a month later.

These pics are a week old. The plant is over halfway eaten by now. It turns really dry and brittle. I seem to lose flowers and stems overnight. I am currently battling snails but there are no signs of snails on these plants, they stick to others with bigger leaves. I did have an aphid infestation last year but haven't seen signs of those lately. Any ideas???

Also, for my own knowledge? What type of plant doe she have?

First photo is an African Daisy (Osteospermum). The next two pictures look like a different plant that I can't identify.

Could also be some kind of black spot. There are many strains of it depending on which part of the country you're in. It's really hard for me to tell the difference between BS, cercospora and anthracnose so I try to find a fungicide that will work for all of them and use that. Look for the Bayer Disease Control for Roses and that should do the trick. Stay away from the combined products that say 2 in 1 or 3 in 1. You don't need the extra stuff and they don't work as well.

It's got a hole in the bottom, I just didn't have it on a saucer in this pic. And I made the mix. It's just potting soil, perlite, and crushed granite.

If you took the picture with the camera on the phone the picture is stored on your phone. You can Log into your eBay account and using the browser on your phone or the app if you have one. Go to the picture on your phone and there should be a share icon, it looks like a sideways V with dots on the ends on Android, on iPhone it looks like a box with an arrow pointing upward out of the box. . Click on the icon and it will show a list of ways to share the pictures. Email, messenger, etc. I have always preferred to simply remove the memory card from the camera, when using an actual camera, and inserting it into the card reader on the computer. Then accessing directly from the SD card the pictures to download to the computer. It's a simple process.
