Vince - South of Miami is Homestead where you will find dozens of retail nurseries selling the palms you are looking for. I can't recommend any specific ones since I only bought wholesale when I was in the trade, but a ride around the area will yield what you are looking for. North of Miami, into the Ft. Lauderdale area, you have Jesse Durko's - 5151 SW 70th Avenue, Davie - probably your best bet.

The perennials I recognized on the list mostly need sun. I know a couple of the ferns mentioned do fine in shade, but I donÂt know if you want to include those. I listed 2 shade perennials below which I have in my yard which I checked and saw that theyÂre native to Florida (although I donÂt know if to your county). Polygonatum biflorum (SolomonÂs seal) Dicentra eximia (native bleeding heart, turkey corn) On the site I linked to below, you can use the combination search with state and light requirments to get some more ideas in case there aren't more responses. Hi Dave, Sorry to say that Luc passed a few years ago. Carol brought in Tex and his wife from Texas and they are joined together to make Florida Colors even bigger and better. Tex and Kay have added a lot to help Carol Build this nursery. Carol still does grafting and Tex does as well. The nursery looks wonderful.... Luc will always be missed..
