Hi Yippie,
Your plant is a hyacinth. Is the color correct in your photos? It looks like my Alpine Hyacinth that is blooming right now. Plant in a spot with good drainage in full to part sun. It is actually a bulb so the foliage will die back completely every year.

Your 1841 looks like Forget-me-not seedlings
Your 1840 is Cosmos.
Eupatorium is a late rise so you may be correct that it is emerging.
Your another mystery plant might be Artemisia(Mugwort.) Smell/rub the foliage. It will be strongly scented.
Your aster foliage is probably correct. The proper name is cordifolius. You can find pics that way.
Your photo of the plant near the aster looks like burdock, a weed unless you are going to eat it.

Hyacinth huh? Well I am not happy. I am positive they did not say it as a hyacinth...I would have remembered that. In addition, I would have been surprised by that, as it doesn't look like any hyacinth I've ever seen before. They also told me the plant was perennial, AND that it would attract butterflies.

oh, btw..you mentioned that the "foliage will die back every year". Are you saying then that it's an Annual? I also just read something that it "naturalizes" easily or something...which to me means the same as self-sow or something? Just trying to understand if, so long as the plant is happy where I put it, if I can expect it to come back each year or not...

also, do you happen to know IF this plant does attract butterflies? maybe the plant vendor DID give me all the correct info, but maybe the word "hyacinth" wasn't in the plant name...maybe it only gave the Latin name...

The Latin name of Alpine Hyacinth is Brimeura amethystina. Does that ring a bell? Your photo looks very much like mine. I love true blue flowers and can't think of anything that looks the same.
It is a hardy bulb like daffodils where the foliage dies back mid-summer and is gone until the next spring when it reappears.
Annuals only live one season. Though some annuals re-seed so they behave like perennials if happy.
Alpine Hyacinth will naturalize if it is happy.
I've never heard of it being a butterfly plant.

Remy...just thought of another question....I've never worked with bulbs before. If I want to hedge my bets so to speak with this particular plant...if I keep some of the plant in the ground to see if it comes back next year, with the other bulbs, would I remove them from the ground at some point and store them in a cool, dark place during the winter and then put them back in the ground in the Spring...? (Isn't that what people do with some bulbs and then they re-plant them in the Spring or something??)

This type of bulb should be planted and left in the ground. Bulbs that are from places that don't get a cold winter need to be lifted. But bulbs that are from colder areas like these need to be cold over the winter or they will not flower properly.
It does seem you have a few bulbs together there in your pot so you can carefully get them apart to plant in a few spots. Then if you do happen to pick one bad spot, at least they will come back in the other spots.
Once they come back, you are all set and never have to do anything again. In a few years they will multiply and look very pretty. Like I said earlier all they need is full to part sun and good drainage. : )

Could that plant you think is a cherry be a spicebush? If so it is a host plant for the spicebush swallowtail butterfly. The foliage should have a spicy scent if you rub it or bruise it.
