I liked the "sea of blue" as well... I guess the simplicity of the sculpture is better than something that would take attention away from the hostas... I finally figured out why I've been getting so many ads on google and another forum for "the 1 rule for a flatter stomach" and other weight loss ads. I mean, they shouldn't be able to tell from my keystrokes that I am circumfrentially-challenged. Turns out there is a "Weight loss 4 Idiots" site, so every time I post with my Idiots byline the adbots swarm me... I'd have figured it out earlier... if I wasn't an Idiot...

I took a visit today. I hadn't bother previously as I have no interest in art or sculpture (do I hear "philistine" being screamed at me?) I did, though, because I had heard that they had one of my favourite flowers, Telopea speciosissima, the state flower of NSW, Australia growing there. I never expected to ever see it growing in a garden in UK. Not a particularly happy lookin plant, but still. Thanks, mac. Agreed it is an Olearia. Not sure as to species, though. There are several quite similar looking species with these small white flowers. Further digging required. :-))
