Phals in new potting medium

Hi there, I have jumped over here from the cutting garden forum. I have had my phals for about 4 years now and they have all been in bark, perfectly happy and bloom religiously. I bought a couple of new ones the other day and discovered that they were planted in spaghnum moss under a layer of bark. It seems to me that the roots stay very wet in the moss and I'm not at all sure how to proceed with them. Do I repot them into bark? Is the sphagnum a new and good thing? The leaves of these new ones are dark green but they are pushing new roots from the leaf joints above the leaves instead of under them. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Kat
