I purchased a Catt. Merry Song about a month ago. It was shipped bare-root, with one spike and three large buds. When the plant arrived, most of the roots were dead. There may have been one surviving root that was less than 1/2 long. I cut off the dead roots, soaked the plant in SuperThrive, potted it and misted it every day, giving it very little water. That has not worked. Even though the spike and buds continued to grow, the pseudobulbs look a little more shrunken every day. Now, one of the buds is dying. The other two buds still look healthy; one is blooming and the other looks healthy. I have kept the plant in a lower light area than it's permanent home, hoping that would help. The air circulation, temperature and humidity are good. How can I resuce this plant?? I really don't want to lose it. I need help! Thanks for any suggestions. Liz
