Wish I could help. I've given up posting photos on this forum. The procedure I used to follow no longer works. On other forums, there's a way to browse to your photos, which provides a thumbnail for viewers to click on.

That's about what happened to me so I registered with Photobucket,uploaded photos from my computer storage, and finally figured it out. Just kept trying different things but never hit the submit button til my photo showed up. Glad I did. If this 76 yr old can do it bet you can too. I have figured out the sizing thing too but I think some people like it large so will wait. Shirley

Photo size is a function of file size and/or pixel dimension. Example: Photo A: 640 X 480. Most screens these days are 1280 X 768 so that photo is going to take up 1/2 the screen. Sizing it to 350 x 240 or something similar will make for a photo that will be about 1/4 the screen. More often than not you simply get: Photo B : 1mb. Thats one megabyte... one million bytes. Your photo progam will immediately chop that down to 1/4 the size but that will still be too large for most monitors. The same program will usually export an "internet ready" photo size certainly Flickr (Yahoo?) will. More than you wanted to know I'm sure.

I use Picasa which is a google utility. It is free for download and it makes it very easy to upload to a web album.(one click) and the copy and paste the link into your forum post and it does the resizing for me.
