If you’re looking for something out of the ordinary, these orchids may be a good choice
Full StoryMy dendrobium nobile has faithfully flowered for me the past 2 winters. This year it threw out a nice flush on its new canes as well as in its old canes. However, over the past week the old canes with flowers seem to have bent right over! I was afraid they had rotted or something but the canes are all still hard, just shriveled. The new canes are ok. This orchid is in need of repotting and I was going to do this after it was done flowering. Is the bending because of light, age, some sort of disease or lack of water or something else? Frankly, it's quite unsightly like this :(
