Recommended early plums for Maryland

As I mentioned in a recent post on Stanley plums, I am looking to plant some much earlier plums. I'd appreciate any advice. Here are the basic criteria: Ripens early -- end of July at the absolutely latest but preferably earlier. Self-fertile. Tastes pretty good. Would do well in Maryland (near DC). I try to maintain a minimal spray schedule, but usually spray some permethrin on stone fruit. I would hope that early ripening would mean no need to spray fungicide to prevent brown rot.
