Anything specific piece you're wanting to use? You could try searching for that specific item in this forum. Have you tried searching for "metal garden art"?
Can you post some photos of your stash? This forum has the most creative folks on it that I've ever come across. Someone might have just the idea you need to get started.

this is a link to an incredible fence that someone made out of scrap metal. Theres a lot of pics, but well worth looking at! Search for metal in the search at the bottom of the garden junk forum page and on the trash to treasure forum page. Probably turn up a lot more that way.

Cool fence, concreteprimproses. One thing I hate in our area is the city would frown upon putting up creative fences like that. Although making one as a garden border would probably be just fine. I always recommend that anyone who lives in the city, check with their local building inspection department to find out of it is okay to make a fence out of "junk".

One of the best places I have found for inspiration, is the Inspiration albums that purplemoon aka Karen has set up for us on Photobucket. Below is the link to the metal album.

Like nmgirl said, it would probably help to show us pictures of what you have to work with. People have made trellises, gazebos, fences and sculptures out of metal objects.

THANKS a bunch.

This is just what I need. Like all, I hate to say artist I need a little push now and then.

What I have is a place where the public comes by and I want some stuff for the kids to look at.

I've tough about chainsaw art but that doesn't strike me as fun and weird.

I can wield a little but mainly I collect things. Now I'm not talking about makeing piles of stuff, more of I can see what things might become, more of a guy that can go and find things I guess.

Anyways I have to be careful because my wife has more ideas of what I should do with my time. Of course she is right in that you have to have balance, trips with the kids, church, and family.
