Extra Large Wheels On Mower
Comments (5)hey thanks Gator!and thanks to all of ya. I about got this figured out. any recommendations on string trimmers to hook up to them wheels? the best one I've ever had was a cheap electric Ryobi. I loaned it to a neighbor and well, need I say more? I MIGHT be able to have it saved at an emergency tool repair shop. we'll see. all others I've tried had serious issues with the spool and the string. spent more time untangling and rewinding than weeding. nit with the ryobi. it was blow and go. thanks for any tips fellas!.......Bill...See MorePressure washer cart: front wheels vs. rear
Comments (2)I tried loading a Craftsman two-wheeled chipper up my long aluminum ramps, with the wheels going first. HUMPH! I couldn't get it up the ramps, which are 8 ft. long. So i turned the chipper around and put the wheels at the lower end, and it went right up! It isn't powered wheels....See MoreBCS vs. Goldoni 2-wheel tractor?
Comments (11)IÂve had my BCS 718 for a few years (5 maybe?) now and ready for its 4th set of tines, it gets a lot of use in NC hard clay with granite. I have a 1,200 sq ft vegetable garden with at least twenty, 4 by 10 to 20 plots of flowers and other vegetables around the yard. Has been a while since I actually kept count and I add one or two every year. I never noticed any Âbone jarring issues, it has always been really smooth. A little heavier when doing first till of virgin ground would be nice. Not a huge problem though, it just takes me a few extra passes. When working my regular garden not a problem. I think if it were any heavier it might be more of an issue in regular use. For my uses it has been great. Balances nicely for transport around the yard with the 18" tiller. High gear is a bit fast and will give you a workout jogging to keeping up with it! I did install the wheel spacers, for running dual wheels, and run single tires. For my terrain the wheel base was too narrow. The tires were originally just inside the tilled track and I get better traction when they are just to the outside of it. I will be getting an extra set of wheels, to run duals, when I get a few extra bucks. On side hills it tends to get top heavy when one wheel dips into the tilled track, which is always the down hill one. I found this last year while preparing to open up a new section of garden, on a slope. Never heard of Goldoni so have nothing to compare them to....See MoreAre Rear Wheels or Front Wheels Self Propel Mowers better
Comments (2)Thanks for the reply! I see your point and agree. Excuse Sears “Gagle1”, a reversed thought reaction caused it again. I have used both drives but more in an engine repair mode vs personally paying attention. Recently I felt a self propel would help my ailing body. That was not my opinion after using my back-up mower that is an MTD rear wheel self propel. I found the mower too heavy to maneuver on my small yard. It also used twice the gas as my small 21” Murray uses (with large rear wheels assisting in maneuvering well). I felt the large rear wheels on the Sears Eagle1 would make it easier. From the info shared and experiences (it’s heavy for maneuvering manually). I need to get busy on my body. An unexplained “Recent (4 mo+” pinched nerve in my neck has taken lots on my energy and Daily Fun Away. I feel my body was warning me before this. Listen To Your Body! Respect Your Age And Past Bad Youth Activities. I just called a friend with small Eng Skills. The Edger and Mower are on their way to him. Otherwise, My Nature was about to Ck and Start Both. My Body Said Thanks! PS. I’ll ck for errors Later!!!...See Moretomplum
