I may have geeked out on this a bit but does this sound correct?

In controling bermuda, crab and goosegrass in zoysia ORNAMEC states to add 2.5oz of 6.75% to

a gallon of water. This will dilute the mixture down to 0.131%. This was calculated using

C1V1=C2V2 formula.

I have the same product but only in 24.5% concentrate.

It seems some people have been putting 5-10 drops per gallon of the higher concentrate.

However, again, using the C1V1=C2V2 formula, it appears that 0.684 oz of 24.5% would be

needed per gallon.

Does my math check out?

What ORNAMEC states is being sparyed on the lawn.

C1V1=C2V2

2.5oz x 6.75 = i% x 128 oz

i = 0.131%

So this is the percentage that is being spread on the lawn.

So using the same formula but now I have a 24.5 concentrate and determine the vol to add to 128oz.

C1V1=C2V2

24.5% x ioz = 0.131% x 128oz

i = 0.684oz

0.5oz = 1 TBL

You would put 1.36 TBL or about 1 TBL and 1 tsp of 24.5% into one gallon of water to yeild the same spray concentrate.

10 drops does not even come close to this.

    Got the bottle and fully read the instructions.
    Over-the-top on shrubs is about a 4x concentrate than what you use on bermuda in turf.
    If you are using it on turf, 0.14oz (1 tsp) per gallon is the rate, that might be close to 10 drops.
