Lookie what I found!!

I found this garden obelisk and this metal terrarium/plant holder at my favorite TS last week! I was so excited I nearly hyperventilated!!! And they were only $6.50 each!! My cat loves them too! :-)

Fantastic finds! I know what you mean, I get so excited I just get beside myself and if someone is with me, I can't stop talking, oh, wait, I do that anyway...
I'm waiting to see them in your garden, they'll be so pretty!

jroot...love your clock/shed...very creative..nice use of wood on the front. I love functionality with practicality. flagtruck...most places have ordinances against outhouses now a days..but the portapottie is a good way around it. Ours was "grandfathered in" since it's been here so long. One of those camping potties would sit nicely on a small platform that would bring the user to the proper "sitting" height..and could easily be removed for, um, well, I guess disposal would be the best word! LOL.

Ooh... off to tug tips...! Or do I need a leaf-stretcher? LOL J/K. Good one, tropic! When I sold furniture and people would hesitate, wondering if a particular couch would fit in their house, I'd tell them not to worry, the delivery guys will just bring the room-stretcher. Tiff, not at all goofy. I check every plant daily too. Decided I need more flowers to deadhead next year, something that actually needs daily futzing. The house plants don't always appreciate some of my efforts - prematurely removing sheaths, helping leaves unroll, micro-managing vine progress, realizing I've pinched so many leaves "to encourage new growth" that a plant is now significantly smaller... Your plant looks GREAT! No danger of ants carrying that one away!

Ashley, nice to hear from you again..those seeds you sent me are still growing, maybe in a few years I'll be posting pictures of YOUR crosses!! Joe, But of course....!! Haven't used any yet, it's in the fridge and there wasn't really much pollen at all.. My original Exotic Star is sleeping and I had it planted outside in a barrel so it won't have any roots this season so..I bought another one a few days ago. When it blooms I might try the same cross again, but, I WON'T keep any of the seeds. I'll offer them up if anyone wants to give them a try. The only thing is that I notice that this year's Exotic Stars seem to be lighter in color than my original one was..less pink. And, on an unrooted bulb she may not set seeds so easily. But, I might give it a try anyway just to see if the same cross will take again. I've got a few Fairy Tale x Lemon Star (or the other way around) that look like they might big enough to bloom..I'm hoping before the winter is over one will send up a scape! Not really an exciting cross though but, you never know....Stay tuned..... Donna

Yep, definitely looks like a juniper.. I have lots of those (many different kinds), so it looks very familiar. What kind of junipers are in your nearby vicinity that a bird could have carried (or wind blew) the seeds from? Could be one of your neighbors' "offspring".

I love them...

I bought one similar to the black one...but it is off white and has a larger set of chimes hanging inside.

I bought it for my oldest daughter for Christmas.

I think she'll love it...If she doesn't....I'm going to her first garage sale next year...hehe

LOL Daisy.

Those are a really great find. I had the same hyperventilating episode one day when I found a small conservatory (I think that's what they're called) made from old windows (some broken) out on the curb. And even though no one else was around, I couldn't stop that car fast enough for fear someone would beat me to it.

Lucky you! Those are some awesome finds ... especially for that price! I think kitty thinks they are great for rubbing up against. I can't wait to see how they look planted.

I'm so glad to know that you guys get as excited as I do! I'm like a kid in a candy store when I happen upon a treasure! And, yes, my kitty (Ziggy) is so rotten--he has to be in the middle of everything going on!
