Some friends of ours in Indiana had several,
and sold some. They also kept a couple for themselves.
One for their store in Mansfield, and one for their house in Hillsdale.

wow, great. hmmm, makes me wonder how much the one was that we saw in TN at a cemetary memorial place. Now that would have made a good place to put someones 'ashes'. gotta find the pic and post it.

My DH made me one like that last Summer.

We use ours..but for its intended purpose...guess it's the oringal *pot* shed! lol

I want to build one by my studio to use for the intended purpose, but someone said they would frown on it inside the city limits...? Maybe I will do one and put in a portapottie?

My neighbours thought that I was building one of "those things" in my back yard, under my deck, but were quite pleased to see that I changed it to be a garden clock, completely made from scrap wood rescued from the "burn pile" when they were building up our subdivision.

The door opens, and there I keep my garden tools and wheel barrel. The working clock needs a battery change once a year.

flagtruck...most places have ordinances against outhouses now a days..but the portapottie is a good way around it. Ours was "grandfathered in" since it's been here so long.
One of those camping potties would sit nicely on a small platform that would bring the user to the proper "sitting" height..and could easily be removed for, um, well, I guess disposal would be the best word! LOL.

Actually, the presence of an outhouse MAY be a good thing. See the links below regarding composting and the use of urine.

It works well for acid loving plants like Rhodos etc. So, let nature take its course. I might have to remodel my clock. LOL
