I am a transplant from Southern California to the Midwest a fews ago. I love it here, this is where I can see my dream of self-sufficiency on a piece of land can come true. It just hasnt yet, but Ill get there.
I am a registered nurse and run a small business from my home. I have 5 great kids, all grown up. I also have 7 wonderful grandchildren.

Commented: Anybody with ripe tomatoes in Z5 yet? I had only 1 ripe cherry tomato, Gardener's Delight. I started mine in Feb too.
