Hiya Rich. I'll answer the RAD questions for you, of course. The RAD300 package will cover 600 s/f of wood. The packages are sold by the amount of floor coverage with rails and some steps being factored in to make the measuring more foolproof. The marks you have shown will be reduced and lightened but I cannot say they will be 100% removed. If you are willing to sand the entire deck (no spot sanding if you can help it) go for it. I don't think its neccessary and I base what we do re:sanding on the customers desires. If you want a finish that resembles a hardwood finish with minimized flaws, sanding is neccessary. If you take into consideration that most finishes aren't going to last and the deck will have furniture, leaves and other distractions at the surface..well, you decide. The RAD cleaner will remove some of your discoloration. It will also remove some of the surface oils present in ipe. This is crucial for prep if you want your sealer to last. The brightening stage will both pH balance the deck and then offer some "hiding" characteristics for that which was incapable of being washed away. The specialty wood aisle at Home Depot or Lowe's (or a real lumber yard) should have flat pieces of wood like what you are describing. You can cut the number of feet that you need.

Now that I have a better feel for what you want, this is what I do. The houses in my area are very, very close together, some as close as 15 feet. So you can see into other people's windows without trying, just by glancing out the window. In the daytime, with the lights off, I really can't see more than a foot or two into my neighbor's house, especially if there is a screen on the window. At night, with the lights or TV on, I can see everything. So for daytime privacy, you might not need to do much. You might try putting a hanging plant in the window, to block sight lines. You could have a roller shade for the nightime. Or you could try, if it works with the rest of the room, hanging very lightweight white or ivory cotton curtains. They would let in tons of sunlight, block the view of anyone outside and be easy to wash. They would also probably provide enough nighttime privacy as well. You could also try the valance with a bottom tier curtain, which is a very traditional look. You get privacy at the bottom of the window and all the light at the top of the window. Shutters on the bottom half of the windows is another option. I do not know if they are difficult to keep clean, however. If you could find some with solid panels instead of slats, they would probably be easier to clean.

Hey There: Please don't choose the fabrics for your blinds just from any color swatches. I suggest that you finish painting your rooms first and then start all over with the colors of your window treatment. Keep in mind, that the wall color reflects and play with the window treatment fabric as well as different light.
