Awesome Junk Gazebos

Hi All!

I just got home from a wonderful "Girl's Weekend" with my Sister and best friend. I just had to share pics of these gazebos and sculptures made from salvaged junk. Unfortunately the shop wasn't open (It's in Frankfort, MI) so we weren't able to see all the sculptures inside- but all this stuff was outside, including the sign advertising a local eatery. I was so excited when I spotted this place, I scared the stuffing out of my girlfriend who was driving, by screaming "STOP! STOP! STOP! TURN AROUND, OMG, TURN AROUND!!!!" Enjoy! Kathy

OMGosh! What great stuff. I love the door gazebo. I think that one monster that snagged the turtle just might be "Nessie"

Lucky indeed, and VERY creative. NEVER would have thought of using those materials for a gazebo. Ever since I borrowed my handyman's truck to gather bricks, I've wanted one, but gonna stay w/my Jeep. It holds quite a lot of junk. Can't wait to see your new toy all planted up. Darlin' little bench to sit upon to survey your Queendom.

WOWZER! LOVE the light fixture...just beautiful! And the monk statue will look great in your veggie garden as well. You look like you had a very successful shopping day for sure! Thanks for sharing! Right now we're having an awful heatwave, so I've been grounded inside for the past couple of days....at least my housecleaning is getting caught up!

What a cool place! I can fully understand why you started screaming for her to stop the car. lol! I can't decide which gazebo I like the best. They are all fantastic. Love the snake thing too. Even the sign was a lot of fun! TFS!

These are awesome, I an getting ready to start a greenhouse from old windows and doors and this gives me some ideas.

How about that? And there's even one with a flamingo weather vane! Too funny! Love the creativity at that place...I would have been hollering to stop too! Thanks for sharing with us!

This was the BEST kind of Girl's weekend. We stopped at every thrift shop, flea market and yard sale we saw, plus spent a lot of time at Lake Michigan Beach. The only drawback was lack of space to pack goodies to take home. We couldn't buy anything big, but it didn't stop us from looking. I definitely see a Junk Gazebo in my future!

I just happen to live in Michigan also and now I see a trip to Frankfort in the near future! Should I plan on taking the van ?? LOL
