The ignition switch may be faulty as you have indicated which can be bypassed . Secondarily and more likely is that your coil is heating up and breaking down . They are inexpensive on eBay . Gator, I feel your Pains! We are getting trees trimmed as we speak (two years overdue from the 7 year trimming pattern). The lack of trimming cost us two Computers, an Oven, Many Surge Protectors and lots of Small Unprotected AC Items due to two110 volt lines making contact. I’ll hope to get a few sticks of wood from the Red Oaks and Pecan trees (vs chipping all). I feel for my trees and neighbor's, they will look a mess then the trimmers finish. They will basically take the line side of the trees off. We over-planted on these small lots before the underground AC Service. In many cases they are adding 110/220 insulated lines due to the thick trees in the Old neighborhoods. Plus, all underground AC to most new constructions and some remodeled constructions. Yea, if you want a workout you could just buy a front tine tiller. Who needs a bowflex lol? Stick with the rear tines you are looking at, thatÂs way too much area to till. Kohler makes a good motor, my grandmother passed 18 years ago and her tiller is still going strongÂBTW she bought it used, and used it from spring till frost. Whatever model you choose check the seals for leaking oil. Check the tines for cracked or bent tines. The tines can be sharpened, but if they are too far gone the tempering will be ground off. Start it and put it in gear and listen for any odd grinding noises or anything else peculiar.
