I've got my Tenacity ... now what?

I have a 100% KBG front yard in decent shape but with annual Bluegrass (Poa annua) issues. I wanted to have some fun and try using Tenacity for it's post-emergent work on Poa. I know my neighbors will think I am again going nuts as I will create white patches in my yard (I killed it all off 4 years ago to plant my KBG). I have my 8oz Tenacity but am now feeling gun shy about using it. Here are some pics and questions.

I plan to mix in a 2 gal sprayer with 1 Tsp Tenacity plus a surfactant. Using a light application, apply multiple doses (2-3?) approx 1 week apart. I may first only try this in a test corner, not the whole yard.

Questions:

1. Surfactant. It calls for a NIS surfactant. I don't want a gallon of it from LESCO - Can I use something else?

2. Timing. Can I give it a shot now? The annual grass is already kicking and going to seed. I can't see how I will be doing harm. I think I can still apply later (Aug?)for poa suppression as a Pre-Emergent.

3. Coverage. Since I am using this as a spot application (1000sq feet / Gal). One tank should gat me multiple doses as poa is mainly in about a 300 sq foot area.

Anyone help or plan would be appreciated. I will be able to follow up with Pics.

Thanks!
