A few weeks ago I decided to sell my garden art at the local farmer's market. I had previously sold some from my house and also in front of an antique store downtown.

Well, the first week I only made $110, but I thought that was a good start. But I had to pay almost 1/2 of it in new membership fee and booth fee. Also I scraped a car next to me when I was trying to get out after setting up. Our insurance will probably raise our premiums.

The next week I only made $44 and almost 1/2 went for booth fee.

The next week I made $60 minus $20 booth fee. (Making progress).

This week I sold NOTHING!! Lots of oohs...ahhs...and compliments, but no money...zero, minus booth fee. On top of that when my husband was parked on the street in front of the market to help me pack up, a hit and run driver left a big dent and a lot of paint on his pickup.

That's the end of that 'career'. No more farmer's market for me.
