Yes, you can have as many cuttings of any of the jungle cactus that will fit in the pot that you wish. Separating them now, that is, if they haven't bloomed yet, can result in them not flowering, plus, you might also run into other problems disturbing them now. If they look healthy & happy, I say let them be.
I have seen three or four different colors of the Christmas cactus and Thanksgiving cactus all growing in one pot, beautiful!

Don't separate them , that will only disturb the tender roots !
One usually plants more than one cutting in each pot to make a "full plant".
The plants you buy are mostly started from 3 or more cuttings.

Since your cuttings are growing new segments ( leaves ), they are probably doing well ! :-)

Oh thank you so much for that info! I had no idea that the plants you buy are started from 3 or more cuttings! In that case, maybe I'll need to get another cutting or 2 to start in there! lol

Hi again, everyone. I have one more question about these. When I root a cutting, can I root ones with than 1 segment? Like can I stick them in the soil to root them with 2 or 3 segments on them each? I was thinking of trying that so that they will get longer faster. Has anyone ever tried this? Or is it a bad idea? Thanks again!

Yes , you can root cuttings like the ones you describe.

I rooted cuttings with "3 or 2 segments coming out of 1 segment" in January.
Some of them are growing flowerbuds now !!! ( But I would not use bigger cuttings than this. )

... I think you'll have to make visits to all your friends with Thanksgiving Cacti ... ;-)

I think a pot with both plants would look beatuful..and do well, too..I had a container with Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Easter cactus growing, this is, until the squrrels got to them this spring..sigh..Toni

Ok I clipped off a few cuttings, watered the soil, and then pushed them down into the soil. I pushed down about half of one segment. I hope I'm doing this right! Anyone have any additional advice? Thanks again!

Half of the segment into the soil , that's perfect.
Keep the soil moist , but not soaking wet , and the cuttings will be ok.

Garden Kitten, I've successfully rooted CC, etc, in a terrarium. Just stuck the ends in soil, watered and waited..Though they dislike wet feet, for some reason they enjoy humidity..Toni

Beautiful pic, Bergit!! Right now I'm rooting some old original "Christmas Cactus" cuttings, and the ones that were rooted already were Thankgiving ones! How fast do they grow, by the way? I can't wait til they get big!!

You are asking a very difficult question there ! ;-)

I have rooted Thanksgiving Cacti and Christmas Cacti many times , and it differs so much "from one rooting to another" how fast they START growing, and the RATE of growth. - No rule there , and I honestly don't understand what factors it is that make the differences.

Right now I have a pot with 4 cuttings that were planted in April and by now I'd call them a "cute little PLANT".

I also have some cuttings ( 5 different hybrids ) that I received in trade in May that have just started growth , and I'd definitly call those things CUTTINGS.

So what we do is ; give them the best care we know of and let them do things at their own speed.

Not a clear answer , but it's the best I can do , maybe someone else can be more definite ...

( If you don't have any mature plants , I hope you can find a nice blooming Thanksgiving Cactus ( or 2 ! ) in the shops , so you can enjoy the beautiful flowers also this fall. I know it's not the same as plants you have grown "all the way" yourself , but still ... And next year you'll feel there "all yours" ! )
