I finally finished my Tin Man

You might remember last summer when I found this tin man at the flea market all disabled and in need of a fix up job.

Here is how i fixed him up

I painted him and added some old nuts and washers for his eyes and a piece of copper wire for a mouth. He has his original nose.

Boy, did he turn out cute! I remember you the "before" picture and thinking he was even cute in pieces but he looks fantastic in the "after" pic! What in the dickens is his hat made out of?

Hi Luna, Looks like the hat rim is a metal plate of some sort. The top part of the hat is a can.

he turned out so cute..i bet he was feeling a little like the scarecrow(all in pieces)..until u put him together lol..now he looks like he came from emerald city after the cleaning and buffing!

Really nice job! He is a cute guy!

I started one this spring, and gave up.
The directions don't always go as they say.
So, I just need to re-start again.
