Johnny's sells seeds for sprouts - seeds that are certified organic are identified. Pinetree also sells seeds, but I cannot find if they are organic or not.

Sproutpeople is a great source. Shipping gets higher when you're in the midwest or east, since they're in San Francisco.

Get deals on bulk organic seeds on eBay far cheaper than "sprouting seeds."

I bought seeds one time on E-Bay. They had poor or no germination. They might lie that their seed is organic? I can't afford the bulk seeds I saw on the sprout people site. The cat grass mix looked enticing, but that was almsot $42.00.

The risk of eBay seed is age and storage conditions. Buyer beware.

Okay...no clue what kind of seeds you are after, but you can also get organic grains on Amazon. I bought 25# of hard red wheat for sprouting, grinding, etc. for less than $1 a #. Also, I recommend Two Willies Nursery (Rollmisty) on eBay for fresh seed and cheap shipping. Hope this helps.

You can also get organic grains at most any health food store that will sprout. Often the cheapest way to go. Whole Foods, for example, carries things like wheat, oats, barley, quinoa, mung beans which all are sprout-able.

Yes, bulk bins in quality food stores have never let me down. Lentils, hard and soft wheat, mung (soy), radish, I have only had some minor issues with sunflower because the shell has a hard time coming off the sprout. For peas, I bought some on the web, and those did well, too.

I only want a small amount of alfafa seeds. The health food store is an hour away through the worst city traffic. Not worth it to me. I'll have to check out the other health food store after Christmas. It's right near the mall.
