Newbie, don't waste your time.....the reason why spring bulbs are planted when they are is because the bulb needs a particular temperature range to promote ROOTS. Without a root, the tulip, the crocus, the daffodil bulb is just fodder for squirrels, mice, skunks and whathaveya. You didn't plant them when you were supposed to. Now you pay. They are useless unless you can keep them in cold storage until next fall. Chances of that....keeping a bulb for 7 months...is pretty nil. The bulbs will dry out and be useless. Its forever being said ---"oh, that's alright, just plant them, they're tough, they'll probably just grow foliage until next season"....and so on and so on. They wont. I suggest you throw them into the compost pile now so that in the fall what comes from them, might be used in your garden to promote bulbs that have been properly planted. Next fall....write across your calendars....BUY BULBS PLANT BULBS. Do this for the months of September/October/November/December.....whenever you get around to purchasing them. But, when you purchase....plant them IMMEDIATELY.

pots in z5 can be tricky ... if you dont want them.. maybe i shouldnt tell you how to do it... lol .. well.. lol ... the problem is the great white north.. is that a frozen pot.. can NOT drain ... and it doesnt help.. that you put mother earth in a pot ... media goes in a pot .. you ought to know that.. did you ever buy any of your potted plants in dirt.. anyway.. i digress ... if your frozen pot.. get rained on.. especially late in the winter ....you have the potential to turn the dirt into a mudsickle ... and roots dont grow nor live long inside an ice cube .... so many peeps.. simply lay the pot on its side.. come january ... and the rest of what hair said ... and it will not matter if this spent all winter .. on its side.. under 4 feet of snow ... also .. if that is any kind of fancy pot.. the expanding ice.. can crack the pot.. regardless.. its a maple... dont fret too much about it.. you can barely kill them havent you seen a house in the hood.. with a couple million growing in the gutters ... lol you are a worrier .. simply dont worry about this .. just knock the pot over ... out of the sun ... ken Here is a link that might be useful: link

Judybarnes, How much is the Sealy's latex bed since I almost went that route but finally decided the bed was too soft for me and I really needed to fine tune my bed's comfort. I chose a latex kit and went with FloBeds.com but here are other companies out there also. I ordered split cores and a split slat box with 10" legs to make the bed higher for my Wesley Allen 60" headboard and to store clothes under my bed. I have three layers of Talalay Latex on each side of my bed with a natural Talalay Latex topper. Four out of the 6 latex cores are 100% natural Talalay Latex while each side also has a super firm blended Talalay Latex core. If I wanted to save money and had a platform bed already, I could have just went with two latex core layers on each side of my Queen bed but I wanted a thicker mattress.
